Applicability & Global Scope
This Wholesale Returns Policy applies exclusively to large-volume merchandise orders shipped as full or part container loads from our Jaipur, India factory. Such consignments may be delivered directly to the end customer’s depot or, for administrative, logistical, or capacity reasons, routed through one of our global fulfilment centres, including:
- Ipswich, United Kingdom (UK fulfilment hub)
- Fairview, New Jersey, United States (East Coast operations)
- Compton, California, United States (West Coast operations)
- Magdeburg, Germany and Madrid, Spain (European Union hub)
- Melbourne, Australia (Australian hub)
This policy applies uniformly across all global destinations and fulfilment centres.
Introduction & Company Commitment
Artisan Furniture, trading as Global Vision Direct Ltd, operates a community-driven and sustainable supply chain rooted in Jaipur, India. Every wholesale container is manufactured under:
- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) protocols
- B Corp Certified
- SMETA social compliance auditing
- VRIKSH/EUTR/EUDR timber traceability standards
- Robust infestation-control protocols, ensuring goods are fumigated and pest-free on dispatch
All wholesale orders are individually produced and allocated to the ordering customer. Each consignment is backed by independent third-party quality assurance inspections, with full photographic evidence of reproduction available on request.
Our brand credentials include B Corp alignment, Forbes recognition, and Goldman Sachs mentorship, reflecting our commitment to sustainable trade, financial integrity, and global best practice.
Legal Context (B2B Wholesale Orders)
- These wholesale transactions are strictly B2B contracts.
- Consumer protection statutes (including, but not limited to, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Sale of Goods Act 1979, and Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982) are expressly excluded to the maximum extent permissible by law.
- Once confirmed, container orders are treated as firm and final sales, with no return rights.
- Liability remains limited as set out in our master Terms & Conditions.
Policy Position on Returns
- Finality of Sale
– All wholesale container orders (full or part load) are final.
– Once a container is shipped and invoiced, returns will not be accepted or authorised under any circumstances. - Discount Structure & Risk Allocation
– Wholesale prices are offered at up to 50% below dropship pricing.
– These discounts reflect the commercial acceptance that, despite robust packaging and quality assurance, a small percentage of defect or breakage may occur.
– Such risks are borne by the buyer as part of the pricing arrangement. - Customer-Specific Production
– Every wholesale order is manufactured exclusively to the customer’s requirements.
– Independent third-party quality assurance reports, including pre-dispatch photography, are conducted before shipment.
– Because goods are bespoke-allocated, returns, exchanges, or cancellations are not commercially or contractually viable once dispatched.
Quality Assurance
All wholesale consignments are subject to multi-stage in-house checks and independent third-party quality assurance inspections before shipment.
Full photographic documentation of the reproduction process may be shared with the customer upon request.

Infestation Control
Every container undergoes robust infestation-control measures, including fumigation and multi-stage pest-control processes compliant with international standards.
These steps ensure consignments are free of infestation at the point of dispatch.

The Human Touch Programme
All our products are handmade by skilled artisans in Jaipur, India. This artisanal production process embodies our initiative known as “The Human Touch.”
Natural variations in wood grain, shade, and finish are inherent to handmade products and do not constitute defects but are instead hallmarks of authenticity and craftsmanship.

Timelines & Claims
- Pre-dispatch: Any QA concerns must be raised before shipment.
- Post-dispatch: No returns, cancellations, or defect claims will be entertained after the container has left our facility, save for claims directly under carrier or insurer policies (where applicable).
- Transit Insurance: Responsibility for securing and activating insurance lies with the buyer. Artisan Furniture will provide supporting documentation but does not assume liability once goods are in transit.
