About Global Vision Direct Ltd

Global Vision Direct Ltd is a British company headquartered in Westminster, City of London, trading worldwide under the brand Artisan Furniture. Our supply chain integrates:

  • Manufacturing and finishing in Jaipur, India
  • Export consolidation exclusively through 40ft High Cube FCL containers
  • Fulfilment centres in the United States, Canada, Spain, Germany, Australia, and the United Kingdom
  • A global network of regulated financial partners
  • Ethical, responsible, and audit-backed production standards

We operate under a vertically integrated model that allows us to maintain direct oversight over sourcing, production, packaging, shipping, and distribution, ensuring security, compliance, and product integrity at every stage.

This document outlines our public-facing, non-confidential adherence to the principles of the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) program administered by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

1. Integrated End-to-End Supply Chain Security

Our supply chain architecture is intentionally designed to minimize external exposure and maximize security:

  • All products are handcrafted within our dedicated manufacturing facility in Jaipur.
  • Finishing, quality control, packaging, labeling, and container loading are conducted in-house by trained team members employed directly by Global Vision Direct Private Limited (India).
  • No third-party factories or open-market subcontractors are used for U.S.-bound shipments.
  • All shipments are Full Container Loads (FCL) — we do not ship LCL, pallets, mixed consolidations, or groupage cargo for the U.S.

This framework provides a controlled, predictable, secure, and auditable supply chain pathway from origin to final U.S. fulfilment centres.

2. Secure Manufacturing & Facility Access Control

The Jaipur factory is an international cargo production environment, not open to the public.
To safeguard operations:

Factory Access

  • Only authorized operational employees may enter the factory premises.
  • All external meetings—including with vendors, auditors, buyers, and partners—take place at our separate Jaipur office, not inside the factory.
  • Visitors never access manufacturing or loading zones.

Physical Security

  • 24/7 CCTV coverage of all production, packaging, and loading areas
  • A single, controlled entry–exit gate manned by trained security personnel
  • Locked staging zones for export-ready goods
  • Lighting and surveillance around all critical zones
  • Regular review of physical infrastructure integrity

This ensures that production and cargo flow remain inside a controlled, sealed, and compliant facility environment.

3. Licensed & Trusted Transport, Customs, and Export Partners

We work exclusively with:

  • Long-standing licensed transport providers for factory-to-port movement
  • A single Government of India–licensed Customs House Agent (CHA) who has served us since inception
  • Globally recognized ocean freight carriers with security compliance frameworks

Transport Monitoring

Although trucks are not GPS-equipped at the factory stage, India’s regulated infrastructure ensures tracking through:

  • Mandatory QR-code toll scans at every toll plaza, automatically logging movement
  • Continuous communication between our transport partner and our internal shipping team
  • CHA oversight from the moment the truck leaves our factory until it enters the port
  • Container registration and verification at the port gate under customs surveillance

Once the container is loaded on the vessel, GPS-based ocean tracking via ShipsGo provides live visibility through transit.

This combination provides a multi-layered, cross-verified tracking trail from factory dispatch to U.S. arrival.

4. Container Integrity, Inspection, and Seal Management

Our container integrity procedures meet and exceed industry standards.

Container Inspection

Each empty container undergoes a documented seven-point inspection for:

  • Structural integrity
  • Door and locking mechanisms
  • Roof, floor, and interior walls
  • Signs of tampering or contraband
  • Pest contamination
  • Unusual odour or residue

Only containers passing inspection are approved for loading.

Sealing Protocol

  • ISO 17712–compliant high-security seals purchased only from officially authorized suppliers
  • Seals are applied immediately after stuffing
  • Seal numbers are photographed and recorded
  • Seal data is included in pre-alert documentation shared with U.S. fulfilment partners
  • Seal numbers appear on the Bill of Lading and all export paperwork
  • Any seal anomaly triggers incident escalation procedures

This provides strict control over container access from the moment of factory sealing to the point of U.S. receipt.

5. Global Fulfilment Centre Security & Domestic Last-Mile Controls

Our U.S. distribution framework includes fulfilment centres in:

  • New Jersey (East Coast)
  • California (West Coast)

These are operated by licensed, vetted 3PLs with:

  • CCTV-monitored secure warehouses
  • Limited access zones for high-value cargo
  • Documented receiving and discrepancy reporting procedures
  • Segregated docks for inbound and outbound movements

Domestic U.S. Shipping

  • 99% of parcel deliveries handled by UPS or FedEx, both CTPAT-certified entities
  • A very small percentage of B2B orders collected directly by partners such as TJX

This ensures compliant domestic handling throughout the U.S.

6. Financial & IT Security Controls

All international and domestic transactions are processed through regulated banks:

  • HSBC UK / HSBC EU / HSBC India
  • Citibank USA
  • BMO Canada
  • ANZ Australia

Online transactions are processed via Stripe, using:

  • Stripe Radar
  • Transaction risk scoring
  • Embedded fraud detection
  • PCI DSS–compliant encryption

No unregulated channels, cash transactions, or peer-to-peer transfers are used.

7. Ethical, Environmental & Social Compliance Framework

Global Vision Direct Ltd demonstrates its broader commitment to integrity and responsibility through:

  • B Corp Certification
  • SMETA/SEDEX Ethical Audit Assurance
  • GMP-aligned manufacturing practices
  • Carbon footprint measurement and sustainability reporting
  • Environmentally responsible packaging and operations

These certifications reflect a transparent, responsible, and socially aligned business model.

8. Our Approach to CT PAT — Why It Matters

CTPAT is a critical component of secure trade into the United States. Aligning with CTPAT enables:

  • Reduced supply chain risks
  • Lower likelihood of cargo tampering
  • Enhanced predictability for retailers, marketplaces, and logistics partners
  • Stronger collaboration with U.S. Customs & Border Protection
  • Faster customs clearance in certain supply chain scenarios
  • Mutual recognition across global security schemes

Our aim is a trusted, transparent, and secure supply chain that reinforces the confidence of all U.S. stakeholders.

In case of conflict, the governing jurisdiction defaults to United Kingdom law, and Global Vision Direct Ltd (UK) retains final interpretative authority.

9. Continuous Improvement & Security Culture

We operate under an evolving improvement culture that includes:

  • Regular review of shipping and security SOPs
  • Staff training across India, UK, USA, Canada, EU, and Australia
  • Internal audits and compliance checks
  • Periodic updates to our digital Policy & Compliance Hub
  • Documentation of incidents, corrective actions, and lessons learned
  • Engagement with global logistics partners on updated risk intelligence

Security is not a one-time action — it is a continuous, documented, and monitored commitment.

Statement of Assurance

Global Vision Direct Ltd reaffirms its commitment to maintaining best-in-class global supply chain security, ethical manufacturing, and continuous alignment with CTPAT principles.
We maintain an ongoing improvement roadmap to ensure that our supply chain remains resilient, transparent, and compliant with the highest international standards.
