Artisan Furniture Global Pricing Framework

Our pricing structure is reviewed and realigned through a formal annual price review process, designed to ensure long-term sustainability, operational stability, and consistent service delivery across all markets in which we operate.

We operate a three-tier pricing model—Dropship, Trade, and Wholesale—supported by a global network of seven fulfilment centres across North America, Europe, and Australia, alongside our manufacturing facility in Jaipur, India. While pricing thresholds and values are expressed in local currencies depending on the market of operation, the underlying pricing methodology, governance, and review discipline remain consistent across the business.

Each annual pricing review follows a comprehensive 360° assessment that considers inflationary pressures and cost movements at both origin and destination. This includes, but is not limited to, raw material and timber costs, sustainable supply-chain compliance premiums, manufacturing and labour inputs in India, energy and infrastructure costs, wages, taxes, packaging, ocean freight, last-mile (courier) delivery costs, returns data, and the administrative effort involved in managing customer accounts across multiple geographies. These inputs reflect inflationary impacts not only at the point of production but also across each fulfilment centre and destination market.

All parameters are processed through our pricing systems to ensure decisions are objective, consistent, and fully data-driven. Pricing adjustments are therefore based on measurable operational realities rather than sentiment, enabling responsible cost alignment while maintaining service quality.

As a principle, we avoid mid-year price reviews and aim to maintain pricing stability throughout the year. However, in rare and exceptional circumstances—such as major global supply-chain disruptions during COVID-19, the imposition of international tariffs, or significant geopolitical events affecting global trade routes—mid-year pricing adjustments have been required. These situations are assessed carefully and applied only when the business is materially impacted by external economic or geopolitical shocks. Such instances remain an exception rather than a rule.

Annual price increases are a necessary and standard part of operating a global, responsibly managed business. While all programs are subject to review, the percentage impact may vary depending on volume, operational complexity, and efficiencies generated across different customer models.
